Cat Continuous Miner sets a national record

Coal India recently achieved a national record in coal production after the successful deployment of Cat® Continuous Miners by GCPL at their Jhanjra Project. The record production achieved by our Continuous Miner at the Jhanjra Project- was 74,505 tonne coal during the Development Cycle in Dec’14. This is the highest ever coal production from a single underground mine in development. And produced 78,850 tonne during the Depillaring in Mar’17.

The Continuous Miner at the Jhanjra project of ECL produced 5050 tonnes of coal –highest ever single day production from a Continuous Miner in the whole country.
