Punarbhaba 2018

24 June 2018 turned out to be a memorable day when the employees came together to script a unique chapter in our story. We extended a warm welcome to Ms. Denise C Johnson, Group President, Caterpillar Inc. as the Chief Guest at Punarbhava - Coming into being (self) again, our very own 'Rededication Day' on 24 June 2018. Two years back erstwhile TIPL was established as an independent entity on this date and we started on a journey towards being 'Future Ready'. Every year since then, we celebrate 24th June as our Rededication Day. This year marked a new chapter in the history of erstwhile TIPL as we announced the transition of our identity and TIPL brand to Gainwell Commosales Private Limited (GAINWELL).

The event held at a prestigious auditorium in central Delhi was attended by around 200 employees and another 100 distinguished guests from amongst the Government officials, customers and other stakeholders. Ms. Denise Johnson, Mr. Dinesh Trivedi, Member of Parliament, Mr. R. N. Choubey, Secretary-Ministry of Civil Aviation and Mr. Sunil Chaturvedi, CMD, GAINWELL lit the ceremonial 'diya' to inaugurate the event. She later unveiled the new logo and also launched the coffee table book on 'Srijan' – an initiative that the company had undertaken with all the company family members. This was followed by a musical soiree presented by two internationally acclaimed Indian classical music exponents - Pandit Shubhen Chatterjee, a leading percussionist and tabla player with his band of Rajasthani folk singers and Ustad Shujaat Husain Khan, the world renowned sitar player and a Grammy Award nominee for Best World Music Album – who turned the celebrations into a memorable evening.

Earlier in the day, Ms Johnson was greeted by the employees at UNNATI, the North Indian Integrated Facility at Greater Noida. The state-of-the-art facility christened UNNATI (Hindi ~ Progress), symbolizes our commitment to environmental sustainability and is a zero emission, zero discharge and zero waste emitting facility. Unnati is slated to be certified LEED Platinum and houses the Component Rebuild Centre, the regional parts fulfilment depot, DG shed, training centre, new and rental equipment stockyard, workshop, city gas compressor packaging facility and a modern office premise.

"The celebration of 'Rededication Day' gives a true perspective on the changes of the present and the possibilities of the future. The name change of this great company is a reflection of its commitment towards the customers and I am deeply impressed with the transformation that the company has undergone over the years. I feel a strong alliance and a close friendship with this team and want to do everything for your success in the future. We are a strong family as a Caterpillar team and we will grow successfully together as a united front", said Ms. Johnson in her address to the employees.

While we are proud of our 74 years of legacy, we welcomed and celebrated the new 'GAINWELL' at Punarbhava. Today we stand Bigger, Bolder and Stronger as we gear up to celebrate new milestones in times to come.
